Summary:
A Warehouse Manager leads, directs, manages and controls the activities of the warehouse for maximum efficiency and cost effective utilization of inventory, storage and distribution of material and goods.

Responsibilities:
Conduct various analyses of warehouse activities regarding procurement trends, inventory and distribution levels to ensure adequate support of production products or materials/goods needed.
Direct all aspects of warehousing inclusive of inventory, shipping and receiving, distribution and maintaining a safe workplace during operations.
Ensure timely receipt, coordination, delivery and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.
Ensure adequate inventory of materials and goods in accordance with inventory cycle and organizational/production needs.
Work in conjunction with EH&S; to ensure that the employees in the Warehouse execute their duties with safety as an integral part of the job.
Conduct timely inventory analysis to reduce or avoid inventory problems or issues.
Identify and implement opportunities inclusive of strategies that could increase the effectiveness and efficiency of warehousing processes and methodologies.
Develop and implement inventory, distribution and receipt control procedures.
Conduct audits to ensure that analysis of bills of material requirements are accurate and appropriate action regarding availability, substitution and spare provisioning are consistent with production requirements.
Work directly with Supply Management and Production relative to follow-up on outside purchased materials.
Ensure electronic data is current and state of the art for inventory, receipt, and distribution purposes.
Ensure that Purchase Requisitions, Material Shipping Orders and DD1149 Transfer Documents are initiated timely and accurately.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by management.
## Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics and Distribution Management or related field.
Position Requirements:
Ten (10) plus years of manufacturing, inventory/warehousing control, production control/planning or scheduling experience.
Demonstrated working knowledge/understanding of visual inventory systems including transaction driven systems.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Self starter with ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently (able to multi-task) to meet changing deadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of fundamental inventory control programs that support high velocity manufacturing.
Proficient in MS Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
Demonstrated analytical and attention to detail skills.
Demonstrated capability of managing staffing and material at multiple sites.
Experienced with developing and implementing facility plans both long and short term to support material receipt, storage, and production kitting while continuing to provide support to the customer base (internal and external).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
